Mary prides herself in providing user-friendly tax advice that meets the commercial objectives of her clients whilst managing their tax risk.

With a wealth of experience, Mary specializes in advising businesses and family group taxpayers on restructures, transactions, engaging with the Australian Taxation Office, and ensuring tax compliance. Her career journey includes serving as a Partner at a prestigious international Big 4 accounting firm and as an Associate Director at the esteemed boutique tax advisory firm, Greenwoods & Herbert Smith Freehills.

Mary boasts an impressive academic background, holding a Masters of Laws (Taxation) and a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Commerce from the University of Sydney. She is both a practicing lawyer and a Chartered Accountant, with notable recognition as a recipient of the 30 under 30 Lawyers Weekly award in the Taxation category. She has also made significant contributions, having presented at The Tax Institute on international tax matters and co-authored the Australian tax chapter of the Wolter Kluwer textbook ‘Tax Planning for International Mergers, Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, and Restructurings’ (6th ed).

Mary resides in the scenic lower Blue Mountains of Sydney. In her spare time, she enjoys nature walks with her husband, experimenting with new culinary creations, and passionately supporting her local NRL team, the Penrith Panthers.
